About the unit: 
PR and Communications Unit acts as the company's voice to the public - it raises awareness, builds trust with the stakeholders and attract new clients and investors to the company. The Unit also crafts a positive brand image by highlighting the company's achievements, innovative solutions (like automation or sustainability initiatives), and expertise in handling complex supply chains.
They also build relationships with media outlets to secure positive press coverage and manage crisis communication to address any potential issues. 

About the role: 
The Communications Intern is expected to help share the Ninja Van story, its products, and services to the target audience. The Communications Intern will be immersed in the promotion and branding initiatives, and internal communication activities of Ninja Van.

External Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of the company story, its people, services and operations, and stakeholders
  • Monitor and flag Ninja Van media coverage, and relevant competitor and industry news to help draw strategic insights for communication activities
  • Research on communication activities and media channels to assist in delivering high-level placements
  • Work closely with the department in the execution of external communication activities
  • Internal Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with other departments in planning and executing internal communication activities 
  • Help cultivate the company’s existing relationships with government, business associations, civil society groups, and other stakeholders that will be relevant to overall company objectives
  • Qualifications

  • Enrolled in journalism, marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. 
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills 
  • Experience in graphic design and laying out publicity, event, and school promotional materials
  • Experience in campus journalism/publications; creative writing classes/organizations
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Adept multitasker with the ability to quickly prioritize
  • A personable self-starter, able to build good connections with both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and a creative thinker
