This is a frontline leadership role encompassing full process ownership for the day to day operation of the Fulfillment warehouse. Exceptional service delivery to customers both internal and external is the key operational requirement of this role along with the need for excellent team management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize daily warehouse movement, as well as source for part timers during peak season.
  • Daily inventory management and  parcel movement activities (constant optimization of space, order accuracy in pick and pack, liaison with 3PL service provider).
  • Managing a team of warehouse staff to complete daily work plan assigned
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure proper tracking of all work done by the team
  • Monitor accuracy and organization during unloading/inspection of all inbound goods/returned products.
  • Daily liaison with Transport (3PL LM), KAM (Key Account Management) and other warehouse departments to monitor and improve processes.
  • Maintain reports on key performance indicators for performance of the department, which are to be shared with the warehouse manager.
  • Be fully accountable for performance of the warehouse, where performance will be measured by the productivity of the team.
  • Evaluate individual performances of people within the team, and be responsible for hiring matters related to the team.
  • Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Assist in employee training, development and engagement
  • Requirements

  • Experience in warehousing and logistics.
  • A team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement.
  • Knowledge and experience of health and safety, preferably OSHA standard.
  • Knowledge and operation of WMS systems.
  • Competent with Microsoft office/Google Suite.
