PR and Communications Unit acts as the company's voice to the public - it raises awareness, builds trust with the stakeholders and attract new clients and investors to the company. The Unit also crafts a positive brand image by highlighting the company's achievements, innovative solutions (like automation or sustainability initiatives), and expertise in handling complex supply chains. They also build relationships with media outlets to secure positive press coverage and manage crisis communication to address any potential issues.
Job Description:
The Head of Communications shall be in charge to develop key messages that are aligned with the company’s business objectives and ensure these key messages are the base for story creations in the Philippines.
Main Duties
Developing team members’ career paths and personal growth Representing the communications team in Management discussionsManaging and accounting for the communications team’s budget allocation and spend Developing communications strategies and associated implementation plans for both external and internal stakeholders Identifying and measuring success metrics for communications strategies and associated implementation plans Augmenting marketing strategies through organic media outreach Collaborating with the other marketing departments to ensure a seamless message and approach with each project and campaignEnsuring all communications efforts echo the local key positioning statementDriving strategic partnerships with local government units /industry associations /coalitions to iterate the local key positioning statement Staying on top of the policy and regulatory developments, and when necessary – developing corresponding communications strategies Ensuring that members of senior management speak with one voice on key topics, and are armed with the appropriate messaging and latest facts Identifying and securing external speaking opportunities for the senior management team, and leveraging these opportunities in a variety of ways Preparing for and handling crisis communications when necessary Reporting of monthly communications activities Engaging and representing Ninja Van Philippines in government, international organizations, academia, non-profit, and private sectors to champion the company’s business objectives.Creating and publicizing content that articulates the company’s policy positions in media exposures, briefing papers , government consultations, and any other relevant platforms.

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, business administration, or related field (with a proven track record of success)At least 8 to 10 years of a progressive PR career working on similar service or tech companies; strong relationships with relevant media contacts in the business, tech, and lifestyle beatsStrong and proven writing and oral communication skills Proven experience in event and project managementKnowledgeable in doing influencer marketing, social media marketing, and stakeholder mappingProven leadership experienceSkills in crafting effective messages across various platforms, such as press releases, speeches, social media content, and corporate communications.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills in English and FilipinoKeen to detailsProficient in Google suite and a good comfort level using enterprise software
