The Performance Analytics Operations Analyst is responsible for conducting day-to-day data gathering, generation, and basic analysis to support the Senior Analysts and Department Head of Performance Analytics towards the overall direction of the Department. They will process data and create meaningful dashboards to ensure that operating teams have enough visibility on operational and cost metrics.
The Operations Analyst will work closely with the Ground Operations units to ensure that data is properly cascaded and understood on the hub level. They will also work closely with the Business Intelligence Unit on data interpretation, query optimization, and conversion to meaningful information.

Main Duties

  • Monitoring and analyzing the department’s performance through its established KPIs and work standards
  • Creating dashboards, databases and tools that can assist the unit in accomplishing key project milestones and monitoring KPIs
  • Gather, analyze and process data necessary to achieve operational standards and metrics
  • Coordinating with the Business Intelligence Unit in data sourcing, business process modeling, where needed, to aid in causal analysis on issues encountered by the department or risk management. Collaborating with the same unit to improve performance metrics reporting.
  • Coordinating with the QM & OpEx Department in the development of the necessary controls, and proposing to the Department Head, process improvements or changes to address risks, issues and/or audit findings in the operations.
  • Preparing, where necessary, budget and forecasting requirements, cost-per-parcel information, business requirements
  • Work with the Warehouse leaders in ensuring that target CPPs on manpower and consumables are hit and within range and create solutions to further reduce cost if possible
  • Prepare margin and profitability analysis of Fulfillment on per shipper basis
  • Validate billing prepared by the ops specialist and WH team
  • Prepares reports required by senior management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Monitoring and coordinating with concerned process owners the required deliverable agreed during Weekly Operations Review (WOR) or as designated in any project management initiatives.

  • Qualifications

  • Graduate of at least 4-year course, preferably in Business Studies, Management/ Industrial Engineering, or Information Technology with work experience appropriate for the role
  • Work experience in any similar field is a plus
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SQL and other business intelligence or analytics platforms (Python, R, Periscope, Metabase)
  • Proven analytical background
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite’s GSheet 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
