The Regional Senior Sales Associate, Ninja Freight will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Manager in achieving revenue and diversification goals. This position focuses on providing cross-border freight forwarding (B2B) and logistics services to our clients. The Senior Sales Associate will be responsible for acquiring and retaining regional and local clients, working closely with the Ninja Freight Regional Team to ensure seamless execution of freight forwarding sales. This position will report to the B2B Sales Manager within Malaysia.
Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify and close customersIdentify new business opportunities and develop existing and new accountsGenerate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customersHelp prepare sales pitches and materials for business presentations and proposals, contributing to successful sales closuresFollow up with existing accounts to maintain wallet share and grow accountSupport the expansion of relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectivesJoin sales team members in client meetings, offering assistance in successfully closing deals and converting leadsTrack and organize leads, prospects and clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in the sales pipelineMonitor the sales pipeline’s progress, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize conversion rates, and ensuring that leads move efficiently through the sales funnelExecute timely follow ups and maintain clear communication with clients at all stages of the pipeline, ensuring their needs are addressed and improving the likelihood of successful deal closuresEnsure daily updates are input by salesperson in CRM System on customer visits & sales pipeline progressIdentify and assess training and development needs for the teamReport progress of sales pipeline and leads to senior management and suggest commercial and operational improvements to maximize revenue growth Requirements
Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in supply chain, freight forwarding, consolidation or international tradingThe ideal candidate would be a plug and play, preferably currently in a Business development role with an existing freight forwarding client baseGood grasp and understanding of Singapore freight forwarding landscape and client segmentsStrong project management skills paired with proactive behaviour to stay on top of multiple deadlines and achieve aggressive revenue targets Able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in English & MandarinAble to influence and negotiate with others using active listening and persuasion skillsPossess a positive attitude when dealing with complicated, trouble shipper issues Submit a job application
