The Cross Border Logistics team’s objective is to build competitive logistics products and customized solutions to support various sales channels in winning deals and growing the business. The incumbent will be working closely with Regional V.P, Sales team, and Project Manager to manage vendor communications, rate negotiations and ensure operational stability.

The roles expected to manages two main team in SFTR – Procurement & Commercial or Operation

Commercial:
Utilize extensive market knowledge to secure competitive rates by strategically selecting advantageous agents.
Support and provide guidance to the team to ensure prompt and precise quotations in response to sales inquiries, addressing all relevant queries promptly.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of HS codes and customs declarations to ensure accurate and compliant quotations and solutions.
Conduct effective negotiations with vendors to secure favourable quotation terms and costs, optimizing pricing strategies for maximum benefit.
Offer timely and valuable advice, feedback, and market insights to various sales channels, leveraging freight forwarding expertise to facilitate deal acquisition.
Proactively identify and resolve commercial issues through collaborative efforts with Sales & Vendors.

Design & lead the discussion across cross-functional XB teams to provide products solution & strategy to grow the SFTR business.
Lead & responsible the discussion and ensure operations are aligned to goals of the transport solutions/project prior to roll-out.
Develop strong network and build relationship with direct carrier / shipping line, Co-loader, Agent and Etc.

This role exists with a main objective of bridging the gap between the regional team and the local operations, to ensure that our solutions & commercial are well customized to the local environment, taking into account the best practices from other regions. The Logistics Manager is expected to work with various stakeholders, from local operations team, to both local and regional commercial teams in ensuring a balance between the commercial needs and operational constraints.
