Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Leadership and Stakeholder Management
  • Conduct regular working sessions with the commercial team and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of trade marketing strategies.
  • Facilitate monthly sync-up meetings with sales channel managers and the Regional Trade Marketing Team to ensure consistent communication, performance reviews, and strategic updates.
  • Lead and mentor the local trade marketing team, fostering an environment of growth, skill development, and competency building to ensure continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Develop and propose tailored trade marketing initiatives across all sales channels, ensuring strategies align with channel-specific needs.
  • Execute key trade marketing program(s) to lead by example and contribute towards driving significant business impact 
  • Shipper Acquisition
  • Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to significantly improve the quantity and quality of lead funnels for assigned sales channels.
  • Innovate and optimize acquisition strategies to attract and convert high potential shippers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design and execute campaigns that drive new shipper acquisition.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances with synergistic partners to expand the shipper base.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and scalability of acquisition programs, delivering measurable results in shipper growth.
  • Shipper Retention & Development 
  • Ensure our loyalty program is competitive, relevant, exciting and effective in addressing business needs 
  • Continuously refine and review existing volume growth programs with speed and agility to achieve quick wins and scale successful trials.
  • Develop and launch new trade programs tailored to significantly improve shipper retention and development 
  • Salesperson / Shipper Engagement
  • Drive effective in-market engagement with shippers / partners/ affiliates via communication channels such as eDM, website, digital touchpoints, exclusive shippers events and salesperson
  • Monitoring and Reporting
  • Regularly analyze trade marketing and sales data to gain actionable insights for continuous improvement of programs.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing and sales strategies.
  • Present findings and provide program updates to stakeholders via reporting platforms and tools.
  • Ensure transparent and consistent communication of performance metrics and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing, sales strategy, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in managing a team and their outputs is preferred
  • Familiar with events handling and activation 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing,  Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
