About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Banking Operations Team as a Banking Operations Associate. In this role, you will be a key player in utilizing your project management skills to deliver process improvements across Credit, Dunning, and Collections processes, ensuring its smooth and efficient handling.  A focus of this job is on the ability to independently drive enhancements and automatization projects forward while keeping the day-to-day business running smoothly.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute processes regularly and proactively improve them if possible.
  • Accompany projects from the first strategic draft through execution to continuous improvement and management.
  • Manage customer complaints and resolve them in the interests of the customer.
  • Analyze data to get a deeper understanding of the products and projects and thus ensure good quality.
  • Bring added value due to your project management skills.
  • Be the first point of contact for our external and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as deputy for the Team Lead / Manager.

What you need to be successful: 

  • You speak German and English fluently.
  • Experience in Dunning & Collection Processes: Prior hands-on experience in these areas is essential.
  • Strong Knowledge of Lending Products: Your expertise will enable you to handle complex cases, escalate issues to the product team, and contribute to improving operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM and Issue Tracking Tools: Experience with platforms like Salesforce and JIRA, as well as credit systems such as Mambu, is required.
  • You have successfully completed a banking apprenticeship or a university degree in business administration (with a focus on banking & finance) or other relevant working experience with Lending Products or Debt Collection.
  • You have basic data analysis skills and are able to use them for process improvements.
  • You are eager to learn and want to drive the improvement and optimization of our processes.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, you can use Excel and you love the details.
  • You manage your time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • You are a team player who likes to work in a highly motivated team and with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Your SQL knowledge will impress us
  • Business fluent French, Spanish or Italian.
