About the team: 
Mandate for the team is to help Paytm succeed in the Commerce space by building offerings that scale to the vast user and merchant base of Paytm. We partner with our merchants to offer our users value through unique offerings that make product purchasing affordable, rewarding and seamless. While at the same time we help our merchants build deeper relationships with their users through loyalty offerings, customized pricing, etc. 

About the role: 

The Merchant Products team focuses on enabling merchants to easily adopt various financial services provided by Paytm. We provide a business platform (Paytm for Business) to merchants to seamlessly perform financial activities involved in running a business, so that they have necessary tools to scale their business. Our team builds platforms that enable our service agents to efficiently acquire and service new and existing merchants. Our platforms ensure that the payout happens correctly and on time to our partner merchants and agents. We own a common technology platform and build tools that are used by various platforms across the organization.

Expectations/Requirements

Proven leader with 4-7 Yrs of industry experience and a track record of solving problems at scale
Natural with understanding user requirements, creating optimal solution construct, working x-functionally, influencing without authority, etc.
Define the market opportunity, strategize and build product roadmaps to achieve both short and long term goals
Ability to influence business partners, internal stakeholders as well as external parties to be able to arrive at the most optimum product solutions
Able to drive end to end product roadmap - from planning, execution to impact assessment
Define the go-to market strategy and launch new product features in the market 

Superpowers that will help you succeed in this role:

• MBA & Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science and/or related field
• Professional experience in a product management or analytical role, Exp should be in between 3-5 years, out of which minimum 3 years in product management
• Have an extreme bias towards action basically, you need to have the Get Shit Done attitude
• Solutions orientated within a high-energy and fast-paced work environment
• Exceptional customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features
• Possess excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
