We are looking for a Sr. QA Engineer to assess software quality through automation & manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you! Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.
Job Description:
* Must have experience in programming skills with one of the OOPs languages. Preferably : Java
* Must have hands-on experience with Test Automation for API layers.
* Must have ability to think on test scenarios, experience in system testing.
* Must have exposure to SQL queries.
* Must have hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
* Should have good communication skills.
* Good to have exposure on testing of real-time distributed systems including components like
* Messaging queue like kafka
* NoSql data store like ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Cassandra
* Caching layer components like Redis, Aerospike, Couchbase.
* Good to have UPI/Payments/core banking domain experience.
* Good to have exposure on tools like postman, JMeter, SoapUI
* Good to have knowledge on AWS and docker services.
* Review and analyze system specifications
* Develop effective strategies and test plans
* Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
* Evaluate product code according to specifications
* Create logs to document testing phases and defects
* Report bugs and errors to development teams
* Help troubleshoot issuesConduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
* Work with cross-functional teams(Product/dev/QA) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Have a testing mindset with a passion for quality
* Take ownership of features and enhancements from discovery to closure
* Provide Test Summary and Test Exit Reports Test case creation and management along with test data preparation for testing
Qualifications:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* 4+ years of strong, demonstrable experience creating and designing tests
* Experience with usability, functional, and regression testing
* Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
* Understanding of agile software development life cycle and various testing processes
* Good understanding of API based testing and Mobile Apps testing
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Experience with JIRA defect tracking
* Knowledge of E-commerce system
* Hands on experience in programming Good analysis and troubleshooting skills
* Prior experience in game testing for Poker, Rummy, Callbreak, Fantasy sports is a plus.
