We’re looking for an experienced Global Security Operations Center Program Manager to join a growing global physical security team who will play a critical role in keeping our employees safe and secure. You'll work directly with the Global Security + Safety team and cross-functional team members to support physical security operations enterprise wide. Ideal candidates are passionate about leadership, security operations, project management, customer service, and building a team. This position is based in San Francisco but will require domestic and international travel once or twice a quarter.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and oversee the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) program for HQ and international offices.
- Manage vendor contracts staffing all Operations Centers across all contract lifestages, from setting requirements and selecting vendors to ongoing maintenance.
- Build out and maintain a scalable Regional Security Operations Center program in tandem with managing a globally dispersed vendor workforce.
- In partnership with the Protective Intelligence Lead, build out a GSOC Protective Intelligence capability, including monitoring for safety incidents affecting employees at offices and on business travel.
- This role will be diverse in responsibilities from investigations, health and safety compliance, security risk management, travel safety, event security, security budgeting, crisis management and emergency response, and physical security system management to enforcing Pinterest’s security policies and regulations regionally.
- Under the guidance of the Sr Director of Global Security + Safety, document and proliferate security protocols and guidelines for enterprise wide access control standards and policies, security guard operations and deployment, technical security solutions, safety, and emergency preparedness protocols and training for staff, liaison with individual offices’ local law enforcement, etc.
- In partnership with the Environmental Health and Safety Senior Lead, develop and train staff on occupant emergency plans and incident response protocols.
- Work closely with the Security Systems and Technology Lead, Regional Security Managers, and the Global Design and Construction team to assist in the deployment of security systems and technology for new office builds.
- Partner effectively with Workplace teams as well as other Pinterest teams such as IT, Legal, and HR. Maintain regular communications with a variety of stakeholders, to ensure that all concerned parties are well informed.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience managing GSOC operations, ideally in fast paced technology or creative office environments developing security/safety programs and incident response plans.
- Experience in building out GSOC/RSOC/TOC programs
- Experience in analyzing information using multiple external sources to identify and prevent potential threats or risks
- Knowledge of and comfort with global technical security monitoring systems
- Knowledge of Data Privacy and GDPR principles
- Experience of working with vendors and managing a contracted GSOC team
- Experience in contract management and budget resolution
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with G Suite applications
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a related field or equivalent experience
