You’ll own the regional product market strategy for the full Pinterest ads portfolio acting as the voice of the region to ensure product-market fit, while localizing and driving market comprehension & adoption of our product solutions to deliver international expansion and revenue growth.  You’ll also influence our product roadmap by providing key inputs on regional nuances into the product strategy to help maximize product adoption and comprehension in the region.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Build the ads product go to market strategy for your region in close collaboration with Regional Product Marketing, Product Marketing, Business Marketing, and Sales teams
  • Assess the capabilities and opportunities of your region through strategic, qualitative, and quantitative analysis
  • Serve as an advocate and represent the voice of region; ensure broad awareness of and empathy for regional pain points internally
  • Drive cross-functional alignment throughout the regional go-to-market strategy, tracking success metrics accordingly
  • Be accountable for ongoing product adoption and revenue targets 
  • Use data and insights to drive adoption of strategic product priorities and influence our overall as product strategy to ensure product-market fit in your region
  • Educate and inspire internal and external teams on Pinterest’s ads product solutions for advertisers
  • Develop product stories and represent those externally in priority regional advertiser engagements 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of regional product marketing and/or product marketing experience 
  • Autonomously build and execute local strategies
  • Strong communicator at both executive and team levels
  • Strong analytical skills leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategies 
  • Understanding of the Japanese digital marketing scape  
  • A trusted collaborator with a gift for building relationships across teams and functions and creatively solving problems

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our Tokyo office.
