Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seek a Senior Specialist of Digital Stewardship & Fundraising. This job reports to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing & Innovation in the Digital Fundraising & Supporter Engagement (DFSE) department of PPFA. The DFSE team is responsible for running Planned Parenthood’s national email, SMS, and digital advertising programs to raise funds online, power advocacy work, and engage with Planned Parenthood supporters across the country.

Purpose:

The Digital Stewardship & Fundraising Senior Specialist is responsible for cultivating meaningful connections with online communities and supporting peer-to-peer fundraising efforts. This role involves executing strategies to engage supporters across various digital platforms, collaborating with internal teams to create impactful fundraising campaigns, and coaching donors to maximize their efforts. The specialist ensures that community-driven initiatives align with the organization’s mission while also developing new campaign templates and enhancing communication through digital channels. 

Delivery:
 
●Maintain Planned Parenthood’s presence on peer-to-peer platforms such as Classy, Tiltify, ActBlue, and GoodUnited. 
●Assess opportunities to integrate peer-to-peer fundraising into broader digital engagement plans while supporting the development of new campaign templates around key events and implementing updated automation and communications within peer-to-peer platforms.
●Drafts and vets content to engage, motivate, and activate supporters. Collaborates with digital agencies as needed. 
●Maintain and expand on community management response matrix and policies for engagement, monitor discussions to guide the creation of new content, and communicate with supporters on a 1:1 basis. 
●Track individual fundraisers’ performance and report outcomes, working with the data strategy and implementation team as needed to ensure supporter data flow into CRM for continued retention and engagement. 
●Review strategies to cultivate relationships with supporters and individual fundraisers and connect with key influencers within the community. 
●Execute engagements across peer-to-peer texting tools, blast SMS, and additional platforms as needed to steward supporters.
●Participate in quality assurance testing for outbound content and materials, as needed.

Engagement: 

●Stays abreast of online fundraising trends and meets with vendors as needed to expand engagement opportunities. 
●Coordinates with internal stakeholders on the development of peer-to-peer fundraising campaign creation and ideation. Ensures community-driven campaigns, platforms, and events are aligned with the organization's mission. 
●Coordinate with the creative team to develop new shareable content for peer-to-peer platforms to increase engagement, fundraising, and retention. 
●Represent Digital Fundraising and Supporter Engagement in Donor Services conversations, making them aware of new digital campaigns and helping to resolve issues as they arise.
●Collaborate with the Associate Director of Affiliate User Support & Training to provide technical support, problem-solving, and training on peer-to-peer fundraising campaign functionality to affiliate partners. 
●Works with Associate Director, Digital Lifecycle Marketing on new approaches to community fundraising and opportunities for onboarding and integration. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
 
●3 years of related work experience.
●Strive, Hustle, EveryAction, VAN experience preferred.
●Ability to recognize and respond to problems with potential solutions in a highly professional, confidential, and sensitive manner.
●Strong interpersonal skills.
●Excellent analytical skills with sharp attention to detail and the ability to meet critical deadlines. 
●Self-directed and can work alone or in a team.
●Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a dynamic, fast-moving team, completing multiple tasks with poise, accuracy, and confidence.
●Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
●Strong oral and written communication skills
●High proficiency in Google products
●Flexibility and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and ambiguous situations

Travel: 0-5%
