This individual will be an integral part of Pure’s dynamic executive communications team. You’ll be key in helping to develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies in support of priority C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will have some experience supporting aspects of high-impact executive communications programs, driving social media campaigns, collaborating with and influencing key internal stakeholders and executives, and managing thought leadership opportunities. The candidate will be an excellent writer; be able to operate with speed and agility; and have superb interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. 

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Support the executive communications team in building and executing bespoke executive communications plans for priority executives.
  • Identify key opportunities to uplevel priority executives’ thought leadership across relevant stakeholder groups. 
  • Interface with Pure’s functional communications teams to help build and execute integrated comms platforms for priority executives.
  • Provide support to executives on presentations, speeches, social media, thought leadership, internal communications, external and internal events, and other communications opportunities. 
  • Create social media strategies, ed cals, and content for priority executives. 
  • Help establish and report on metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Pure’s executive communications program.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, business, and executive teams to align executive communications efforts.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on executive communications planning and execution.
  • Strong writing and storytelling capability with a passion for crafting compelling narratives for a variety of platforms.
  • Experience in engaging social media campaigns, creating content that resonates on platforms like LinkedIn and TikTok, to amplify executive voices.
  • Background developing and driving thought leadership; media relations, speechwriting and writing on behalf of executives are a plus. 
  • Strong critical thinking and project management skills.
  • Ability to measure and report results with company leaders, stakeholders, and communications partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of EQ, discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and potentially confidential information on behalf of senior leadership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, business, or a related field. A graduate degree is a plus, though not required.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $149,000-$224,000. 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
