We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our channel operations team as a Sr. Channel Incentive Manager. This leadership role will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and operations of partner incentive programs. Through collaborating cross-functionally and driving operational excellence, this role will be pivotal in running global incentives and thus enhancing partner and distributor performance. The ideal candidate for this role will possess exceptional analytical capabilities, strong understanding of channel incentives design and impact, demonstrated results leading cross-functional initiatives, experience in running global incentives compliantly, and lastly, a passion to deliver impactful results.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Oversight of Partner Incentives and Enablement:
- Implement, collaborate and manage partner incentives aligned with strategic goals.
- Track, validate partner enablement status aligned to partner incentives
- Establish and maintain policies and governance standards to ensure compliance and consistency in incentive administration.
- Data-Driven Program Management:
- Direct the collection and analysis of data from systems such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, Excel and Tableau to inform rebate calculations and program performance.
- Utilize analytics to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner with finance, other operations, partner programs, and partner field teams to ensure accurate incentive calculations and timely payments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to incentive inquiries, eligibility criteria, and payment timelines.
- Process Optimization:
- Continuously assess and refine rebate calculation methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive initiatives for system and process improvements, leveraging industry best practices.
- Documentation and Audit Readiness:
- Oversee the comprehensive documentation of incentive processes, including methodologies, calculations, and policy adherence.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping to support audits and internal reviews.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Provide strategic insights and guidance to stakeholders on rebate-related matters, fostering alignment and collaboration.
- Communicate program updates, changes, and outcomes effectively across all relevant departments.
- Cross functional leadership:
- Educate and mentor cross functional teams on the nuance of the incentive portfolio, and considerations in the administration and execution of partner incentives.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance partner incentives and overall channel performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across teams.
- Strategic Projects, Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed of market trends and industry standards to ensure the organization’s incentive programs remain competitive and effective.
- Look across channel operations (and other operational teams) and support strategic projects and drive process improvements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Strong analytical skills to identify problems and suggest solutions
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets, Strong SFDC, Tableau, Google Slides skills
- Must have experience working with outside vendors for administration of incentive programs
- Strong stakeholder partnering with Finance & Accounting and AR/AP with regards to budgeting, accruals, and experience with hardware capex models and recurring revenue models in a software subscription model
- Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, and possess the ability to influence, drive decisions & implement through execution.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $158,000– $238,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
