Pure Storage is a leader in data storage solutions, committed to empowering our partners with the tools, resources, and training they need to drive growth and innovation. We are looking for a strategic Enablement Content Manager to organize, package, and optimize content for our global partner network. This role will focus on enhancing access, relevancy, and usability of enablement resources across various partner types, including distributors, MSPs, GSIs, and resellers.
Job Overview:
Pure Storage is looking for a Senior Content Specialist to join our Partner Enablement team. In this role, you will package and organize engaging, impactful content for our Reseller, Distributor and Managed Service Partners. This includes packaging content for different partner audiences, building targeted training agendas, and ensuring seamless accessibility through multiple platforms inclusive or Partner Portal, Learning Management System (LMS) and Content Management System (CMS)
Key Responsibilities:
Content Packaging, Publication & Communication
- Develop Comprehensive Content Packages: Work closely with subject matter experts to design and package training content to equip partners with materials that enable partner success.
- Collaborate with internal content development teams to identify existing and future enablement materials relevant for partners
- Identify content and materials being developed in silos to standardize and make available to a broader audience.
- Create Customizable Resources for Distributors:
Identify engaging, informative and compelling content for distributors, packaging it into a format for train-the-trainer sessions so that distributors can deliver it to partners.- The content may include webinars, slide decks, videos, whiteboards, e-learning modules. It should be easily accessible and consumable by distributors.
- Ensure materials are comprehensive, yet modular, to allow for adaptation based on regional needs and various distributor capabilities.
Agenda Creation & Training Support
- Define Training Objectives & Outcomes: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand key messaging and training outcomes.
- Translate these insights into structured agendas that ensure coverage of all critical topics in a logical sequence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and build out agendas for Distributors, ensuring they are equipped to deliver comprehensive training sessions on Pure Storage products and solutions.
Partner Content Accessibility
- Ensure content is easily accessible across Pure’s Partner Portal, Learning Management System (LMS) and Content Management System (CMS)
- Segment Content for Targeted Partner Types: Implement a logical tagging and categorization structure that directs each partner type (Resellers, Distributors, MSPs, GSIs) to the most relevant content, training, and certification resources, enhancing their self-service capability.
- Proactively Promote Enablement Content and Resources: Collaborate with partner marketing and success teams to promote training and certification pathways and any other training and enablement events through regular communications, emails, and portal notifications to drive engagement.
Content Optimization
- Ensure all Partner Enablement content is accessible and discoverable within the Content Management System, developing methods and organizing content in ways that go beyond simple search functionality. Leverage tagging, structuring, and other content management techniques for intuitive access.
- Regularly Audit and Update Content: Implement a process for regular partner enablement content audits to ensure resources are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with current product features, messaging, and enablement goals. Archive outdated materials and curate content collections that highlight new and essential resources.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- 5+ years in enablement, content management, or training development roles, preferably within a technology or partner-driven environment.
- Proven ability to package and organize content for targeted audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities with an ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with content management and enablement platforms such as Seismic, with experience optimizing content accessibility.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partner teams to evaluate content and extract the most critical information to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Experience with channel partnerships, especially with Resellers, MSPs, GSIs, and Distributors in the tech sector.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $145,000 – $218,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
