SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE…

Pure Storage is seeking a Sourcing Manager to work in our Corporate Sourcing & Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, and enhance product quality and supply chain resilience. You will partner with IT, Engineering and other business units to focus on diverse indirect corporate spend, defining and implementing sourcing and optimized spend strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...

  • Global Supplier Relationship Management: Own and manage global relationships with key suppliers via Supplier Relationship Management, including business reviews and scorecards for our Engineering and IT teams.
  • Preferred Supplier Program: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration, secure consistent supply, and improve performance. Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations, KPIs, and feedback. Help drive compliance through RFP and benchmarking strategies.
  • Application Rationalization: Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including app rationalization and consolidation, to create and execute sourcing strategies that meet company objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier consolidation.
  • Negotiate Contracts and Agreements: Enhance spend coverage by negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure optimal terms and minimize risk. Ensure contracts align with legal, regulatory, and quality standards. Work with Legal to establish optimal contract terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Sourcing Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on key sourcing metrics, track cost savings, and identify trends. Provide insights to support decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Implement Supplier Programs: Drive initiatives for supplier diversity, environmental sustainability, supplier selection, performance management, and supply base optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Key strengths in building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-savvy with a customer-first mindset.
  • Comfortable presenting to executives and explaining complex contractual obligations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi, Utah office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

  • The annual base salary range is: $100,000 - $151,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
