Senior Accountant

Qualtrics is looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our APJ Finance team. How You’ll Find Success
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and ensure accuracy in reporting
- Stay proactive in identifying areas for process improvements and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance
- Continuously update your knowledge of accounting standards and industry trends to remain a trusted partner within the organization
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills by providing insights that influence strategic decisions and drive financial performance
How You’ll Grow
- You will work with our leaders on a daily basis and learn how the business is run
- Enhance your technical accounting skills by working with advanced financial software and tools
- Gain leadership experience by mentoring junior accountants and leading project teams on key initiatives
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing to financial forecasting and budgeting processes that drive company growth
- Develop a deep understanding of financial metrics and KPIs, positioning yourself as a key player in financial reporting and analysis
Things You’ll Do
- Assist in month, quarter and annual finance close processes
- Prepare journal entries and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
- Work closely with internal and external auditors
- Assist in the preparation of schedules and financial statements for statutory requirements (IFRS), tax filings, and annual audits
- Support the financial control and management of APJ entities
- Automate accounting processes as well as other business processes
- Assist in researching accounting guidance and analyze how it affects the Company
- Certain associated AP and treasury/cash-management responsibilities
- Help with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests as they come
What We’re Looking For on Your Resume
- Master’s degree in Accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Able to work within a team environment effectively, as well as function independently
- Great oral and written communication skills to interact with upper levels of management
- Preferred CPA/CA certification or working towards one
- Experience with NetSuite, VBA macros, AI and other data analytics tools
