Job Duties: Delivering strategic, insights-driven narratives that decode the cultures, conversations, and communities on Reddit, unlocking commercial opportunities and driving impact for advertisers across sectors. Building relationships with XFN partners, from sales partners to creative strategists, to better understand their challenges and maximize the impact the Global Insights team can have in overcoming them, to achieve Reddit’s business objectives. Partnering with Sales Teams to create provocative and actionable insights that help sell Reddit as an advertising Platform. Partnering with our broader Marketing team to author thought leadership, white papers and cultural insights that drive awareness and consideration for Reddit among advertisers. Developing new futures methodologies that leverage the power of Reddit’s first party data to predict trends and cultural shifts. Owning the data toolstack for Global Insights and partner with our Data Sciences team to develop the roadmap for our 1P data tools development. Driving awareness for Reddit and the power of our community. Daily responsibilities will span across insights - including platform data analysis, 1st and 3rd party insights storytelling, leveraging primary research, and developing scalable insights tools for our internal and external use. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to Reddit offices may be required up to 25% of the time. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Data Science, Cultural Studies and Sociology or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.  

Special Skill Requirements: (1) GWI; (2) Brandwatch; (3) Comscore; (4) Brand Strategy; (5) Presenting to an executive audience; (6) Mixed Methodology Research Design; (7) Global Research Design; (8) Trend forecasting and futures; (9) Qualitative Data collection and analysis; (10) Social data analysis; (11) storytelling & research deliverable design; and (12) Collaborative Workflow Design. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Travel to Reddit offices may be required up to 25% of the time.

The base pay range for this position is: $218,400.00 - $234,500.00 USD
