What’s the role about?

As our Accessories Designer you will be responsible for being the creative driver within the department. Working to commercially establish the direction of the range through research, development, mood and to design each product across all non-clothing excluding footwear.

Who you are

  • Relevant Degree in Fashion Design, with skills in illustration and visual communication
  • Strong and complete experience of product lifecycle; from sketch to consumer
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing directly with factories, including their challenges and capabilities
  • Multi-disciplinary design experience across all non-clothing product groups
  • A broad understanding of the competitive marketplace
  • Able to travel frequently, with additional language skills being a plus

What you’ll be doing

  • Create a seasonal strategic design brief, across all non-clothing categories (including Bags, SLGs, Hard and Soft Accessories)
  • Identify and deliver detailed style direction on newness as well as existing products
  • Collaborate with all clothing Designers to ensure a unified attitude and style direction each season
  • Work closely with factories and suppliers to commercial deploy vision for product, including all corrections and amendments
  • Work closely with Product Managers on development to include product, materials, pricing and execution
  • Assist Production and Technical Manager on all aspect’s commercialisation
  • Support the buying, retail and marketing process for the collection
  • Support with the growth a development of a Design Assistant in the department
