The Workplace Experience Team (WE) at Riot is just that - Rioters' experience in the workplace. We are a diverse group of disciplines focused on how Rioters engage with our workplace. This includes Facilities Operations for our buildings and maintenance; EHS and Security for our safety; Food and Events programs for daily engagement; and Space and Move Management to help us understand how we occupy our world and ways to improve it.

As a Facilities Partner at Riot Games Los Angeles Headquarters (LAX), you will play a critical role in overseeing and enhancing 650K+ sq ft of physical workspace that fuels creativity and passion for Rioters. We believe this begins in a well-maintained, thoughtfully designed work environment. This role reports directly to the Manager, Facilities and assists in the daily operations of the LAX facility, ensuring its safe, efficient and sparks creativity. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to provide spaces that empower Rioters to deliver their best.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, through vendors, the daily operations of Riot Games’s LAX facility, ensuring standards of excellence and an efficient workspace.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for facility-related requests and issues; maintain an open line of communication with Rioters to address concerns by providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure service delivery is timely and of quality, addressing any gaps or issues in their services and escalating if necessary.
  • Collaborate with department heads and space leads to design and reconfigure spaces, enabling the creative process and team collaboration.
  • Track and manage facility expenses, support budget planning and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Execute and support projects from creation to completion while working with partners and stakeholders to align around the desired end results.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to improve overall operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities management with an understanding of how to oversee creative office spaces that blend tech needs with collaborative environments.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor contractors of both hard and soft facilities services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff as well as internal  external partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to respond quickly and efficiently to issues as well as anticipate future needs.
  • Experience maintaining key building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), facilities management / work order systems and office technology infrastructure.
  • Ability to lead projects such as office reconfigurations or renovations, from initial planning through completion.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in the gaming industry, tech or creative workspace environments.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, FMP, or similar.
  • Knowledge of G-Suite, Slack, ServiceNow, Robin, Ironclad and Coupa
  • Understanding sustainability practices in facilities management.
