As a Technical Producer at Riot, you will lead passionate technical teams to create products and experiences that maximize both developer and player value. You’ll be responsible for guiding development, clearing blockers, and driving projects to completion, all while fostering a sustainable and collaborative team environment.

As a Senior Technical Producer in the Chemtech Platform organization, you will be supporting engineers and operators on the Build Test Ship team. You will lead the team that enhances the developer experience around building, deploying, and releasing new features while ensuring a high global release quality for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. You will be a key driver of strong delivery processes within the team and ensure smooth collaboration with external teams. In this role, you'll manage product backlogs, oversee delivery, build work systems, maintain execution, and provide leadership with visibility on complex deliverables. You’ll also ensure your team operates at a sustainable pace and continuously improves. You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Production on Chemtech Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the team in making clear, actionable commitments, and ensure successful delivery through effective project management
  • Troubleshoot delivery risks by reviewing release plans and team roadmaps, identifying optimization opportunities
  • Own the work system for the team (rituals, tracking, reporting, and partner management) and the Leadership team
  • Advocate for and clearly communicate the product direction set by your product partner
  • Proactively contribute ideas across teams and disciplines, expanding impact beyond your immediate area of ownership

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Producer, Product Manager, or Development Manager on medium to large teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical projects on medium to large teams using methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
  • Deep experience applying Agile and Lean development processes and practices
  • Proven ability to navigate product management constraints and deliver balanced, pragmatic solutions

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SRE, DevOps, or software operations engineering teams
  • Experience working with teams building software for backend services
