The Corporate Finance team at Riot is dedicated to helping Riot’s most senior leadership make the best decisions for Players. Our team contains experts from a variety of finance backgrounds with a shared dedication to providing Riot leaders with a deep understanding of the financial impact of meaningful decisions. As part of the Corporate Finance Team, Riot’s Treasury Group is responsible for Riot’s worldwide liquidity and financial risk. If we’re not analyzing cash flow, you'll find us creating decision frameworks, communicating findings, playing games, or upgrading our knowledge and systems. As Treasury Manager, reporting to Riot’s Corporate Treasurer, you will help develop important global strategies for cash management, foreign exchange management, and cash investments. You will be a part of an integrated team of international treasury with direct oversight of Riot’s cash assets. You will be an expert in in-house banking and have demonstrated experience automating treasury operations and compliance with international monetary policy. As an important advisor to Riot’s international offices, you will make swift important decisions regarding funding and managing local and global credit arrangements with banking partners. You will help develop new procedures for the sustainability of Riot’s growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage global cash management operations, including daily cash balances and cash transactions
- Prepare global cash forecasts, working across the organization to obtain and analyze cash trends and forecast variances
- Manage Intercompany settlement process across global entities
- Manage the global funding programs, including capital requirements for international operations
- Initiate short-term cash investments and ensure daily compliance with investment guidelines
- Analyze Riot’s global FX exposures and identify opportunities for strategic hedging of cash flows and balance sheet exposures
- Manage the bank account architecture, including opening/closing of bank accounts, updating resolutions with authorization levels, and managing the bank KYC process for legal compliance
- Support Riot’s accounting group on all financial reporting matters and Riot’s annual audit
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of International Treasury experience at the corporate treasury level or operating in a shared service center environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Experience with integrated Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
- Experience with financial forecasting
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external business partners
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling capabilities
- Knowledge of bank and payment systems
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters in Business Administration
- Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP)
- Certified Financial Professional designation (CFA)
- Experience implementing APIs or other advanced technologies for automation
