We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced GSOC & Intelligence Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). Reporting to the Snr. Director of Global Security, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of Roblox employees, assets, and operations worldwide. This position requires a strong leader with exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the GSOC, including monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and coordinating with internal and external collaborators.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the GSOC.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of security intelligence to inform decision-making and support incident management, crisis management, and travel safety and security.
- Lead and mentor a team of GSOC operators and analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of security operations with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Global Security, managing mass communication and fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize GSOC performance and leverage technology to enhance situational awareness.
- Support incident management, crisis management, and travel safety and security programs by providing timely and accurate information and coordinating response efforts.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Intelligence Studies, or a related field/ experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in security operations, with a focus on GSOC management and intelligence analysis.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of security professionals.
- Strong understanding of security technologies, risk assessment methodologies, and incident management frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with mass communication platforms and strategies.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
