This team creates operational efficiency across the company by centralizing the management of Infrastructure, Technology, and Data. The IT team ensures all stages of the software development lifecycle in a secured environment and scrutinizes the deployment of proper processes along with governance. They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.
Rubrik Corp IT is constructed of 100% SaaS and 0% on-premises. The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. This team also delivers high-paced business outcomes with 100% system uptime backed by agile, nimble, simple, but cohesive Cloud architectures.
About the role
We are looking for a seasoned IT Apps Director to lead our global Salesforce development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both Salesforce development and DevOps, with a strong background in technical leadership. You will manage a team of developers, ensuring seamless integration between development and operations, while delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the IT Apps development team, driving best practices and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership in both IT Apps development and DevOps, promoting collaboration and efficiency across teams.
- Develop and implement scalable architecture, ensuring security, performance, and system integrity.
- Oversee the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical goals with overall business strategy.
- Ensure smooth deployments and integrations, optimizing platform performance.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team productivity while mentoring and supporting technical growth.
Experience you'll need:
- Strong technical leadership experience of a good size IT apps development team.
- Management experience of Salesforce, Netsuite, Web applications and other CRM's and ERP's platforms.
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL) is a Strong Plus.
- Past technical and(or) functional experience of Netsuite is a plus
- Proven ability to architect and implement big CRM project solutions with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Extensive DevOps knowledge, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, version control (Git), and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency with tools like Copado, Docker, Kubernetes, or Salesforce DX for DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Clear high level understanding of Lead to Cash business process knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Developer).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project management.
