About The Team

The Information Technology team at Rubrik influences business processes, employee experience, and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team creates operational efficiency across the company by centralizing the management of Infrastructure, Technology, and Data. The IT team ensures all stages of the software development lifecycle in a secured environment and scrutinizes the deployment of proper processes along with governance. They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.

Rubrik Corp IT is constructed of 100% SaaS and 0% on-premises. The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. This team also delivers high-paced business outcomes with 100% system uptime backed by agile, nimble, simple, but cohesive Cloud architectures.

About the role 

Rubrik is seeking a highly motivated IT Applications Program Manager to manage and coordinate IT application programs, ensuring seamless delivery, along with vendor management and vendor contract renewals. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee program execution, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. A strong focus on vendor contract renewals will be key to success in this role.

What you'll Do:

Program Management:

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end delivery of IT application programs across multiple business units.
  • Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, and reporting mechanisms to provide stakeholders with timely updates.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align programs with business priorities and strategic goals.
  • Lead scrum teams for one or more IT Projects/Programs

Vendor Contract & Renewals:

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring contracts and SaaS licensing agreements are renewed on time.
  • Track and document key contract milestones, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate contract terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions and value delivery.
  • Maintain an accurate log of contract/licensing agreements, renewal timelines, and associated costs.
  • Partner with Procurement and Legal teams for contract reviews and approvals.

Budget & Financial Management:

  • Monitor program budgets, ensuring financial alignment and cost optimization.
  • Provide regular financial reports, including cost projections and variance analysis.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives, including resource allocation and vendor negotiations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the central point of contact between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with technical teams, procurement, and operations to ensure alignment across projects and processes.
  • Facilitate communication and ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within IT program delivery and vendor management processes.
  • Establish best practices for licensing management and contract renewals.
  • Enhance efficiency in program execution by identifying and resolving process bottlenecks.

Experience you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in IT program/project management, procurement or IT vendor management.
  • Past experience of working with Salesforce development teams as well as leading scrum ceremonies for Salesforce Development (primarily Sales Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of IT applications, licensing, and vendor contract management.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Experience in managing budgets, tracking KPIs, and financial forecasting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) or ITIL framework.
  • Experience in software licensing management tools and IT asset management.
  • Familiarity with SaaS contracts and enterprise software licensing models.
