About the Team:
The Enterprise Applications team at Rubrik enables business processes, employee experience, and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team is responsible for all the enterprise applications used at Rubrik and the relevant business processes (Lead to Opportunity, Quote to Cash, Hire to Retire, Customer Support, Legal, & Facilities). The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like Salesforce.com, Oracle NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, Chromeriver, Snowflake, Etrade, Jitterbit, Allocadia, etc.
About the Role:
The NetSuite Developer will own Rubrik’s NetSuite system administration, development, and configurations from an IT perspective and ensure its security and effectiveness. As the NetSuite Developer, you'll ensure the NetSuite ecosystem operates seamlessly and provide innovative solutions to support business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and administer Rubrik's NetSuite system, ensuring its security and effectiveness.
- Provide support and subject matter expertise to users, company employees, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production.
- Perform hands-on coding work on projects as needed.
- Ensure system integrity with proper use of sandbox environments, production data backups, and testing for all system and data changes.
- Provide ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users.
- Manage the setup, configuration, and customization of NetSuite OneWorld in a multi-subsidiary/multi-currency environment.
- Create and modify saved searches, reports, dashboards, KPIs, roles, and role assignments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement NetSuite solutions that align with business needs.
- Present enhancement proposals at change review sessions and ensure standardization of processes governing these changes.
- Work closely with audit, compliance, and security teams to ensure compliance with SOX regulations, ITGC, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Participate in ITSM processes and facilitate weekly change control meetings for production migrations.
- Resolve product issues by managing service tickets with product vendors.
Experience You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct NetSuite development experience.
- Hands-on experience with SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript/web services, CSV imports, scheduling scripts, and notifications.
- Experience managing new environment creation, refreshes, and vendor relationships for SaaS software.
- Knowledge of financial processes and reporting, including Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Revenue Recognition, and Tax.
- Familiarity with SOX 404(b) controls implementation.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to multi-subsidiary/multi-currency environments.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with business understanding to transform user needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Understanding of audit, compliance, and security requirements related to financial systems.
