We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Territory Leader to lead, support, and drive success for our franchise and corporate-owned locations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of franchised units while also providing strategic leadership for our corporate stores. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment between franchisees and corporate goals, driving operational excellence, maximizing financial performance, and maintaining brand standards across all locations.
This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of corporate-owned Sandbox VR locations while supporting franchisees in their business development and ensuring consistency across the network. As we expand, this position will play a key role in maintaining brand standards, providing operational support, and driving the success of both franchise and corporate locations.
What You'll Do:
This role will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership for 17 store teams in the southeast region: Corporate stores (4) and Franchise stores (13) in the states of FL, GA, TN, NC, SC, PA, NJ.
Franchise Management:
Support franchisees in business planning, financial analysis, and operational improvements to drive revenue and profitabilityEnsure franchisees comply with all contractual obligations, policies, and proceduresServe as the main point of contact for franchisees, offering guidance and support to ensure their operations run smoothlyAssist franchisees with opening new locations, including onboarding, initial and ongoing training (as required), and setupProvide ongoing coaching and support on VR systems, customer service protocols, and operational best practicesConduct regular virtual or in-person check-ins with franchisees to ensure compliance with brand standards and identify areas for improvementHelp franchisees troubleshoot operational or technical issues and liaise with corporate support teams for escalationsOversee franchisee marketing strategies, ensuring compliance with branding guidelines and maximizing regional brand visibility
Corporate Store Oversight:
Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate-owned stores, ensuring operational efficiency and profitabilityOversee the daily operations of corporate-owned VR centers, ensuring they meet company standards for customer experience, safety, and operational efficiencyManage corporate location budgets, staffing, and inventory to ensure profitability and smooth operationsLead and mentor store managers, providing training and development to build strong leadership within the corporate districtConduct regular site visits to assess operational performance, address challenges, and identify growth opportunitiesCollaborate with store managers to optimize scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer demandAnalyze performance data and work with the corporate team to implement strategies for improving customer engagement and revenue
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with the training team to develop and refine training programs for both corporate staff and franchiseesPartner with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis for both franchised and corporate unitsLead efforts to align franchisees with corporate initiatives and ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotionsConduct operational audits and provide feedback to both corporate and franchise teams, ensuring continuous improvement in processesWork closely with the corporate operations, marketing, and technical teams to stay updated on product developments, technical updates, and promotional strategiesRelay feedback from franchisees and corporate managers to the corporate team, ensuring that insights from the field inform decision-makingAct as a liaison between franchisees and corporate leadership, facilitating open communication and alignment on business goals
Leadership & Development:
Mentor and develop store leadership within corporate locations, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementProvide feedback and recommendations to senior leadership on trends, opportunities, and challenges within both franchise and corporate store operationsWhat We Are Looking For:
3+ years of experience of franchisee managementExperience with multi-unit management in a retail, hospitality, or entertainment environment, with a proven track record of successStrong understanding of franchising, including contract management, training, and franchisee relationsExperience managing corporate-owned stores or multi-unit retail/restaurant businesses is highly desirableExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to analyze financial data, develop business strategies, and drive operational improvementsWillingness to travel frequently to franchise and corporate locationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholdersWhat We're Offering:
