Scandit uses the latest machine learning and computer vision technology to build products allowing everyone to capture data easily with the smartphone. Image annotation is the process of labelling individual elements of training data (i.e. image or video) to help machines understand what exactly is in it and what is important.

We seek individuals with an interest in computer science and machine learning that possess a keen eye for detail. As an Image Annotator you will support the Data, Product and Engineering Teams in improving the accuracy and quality of our deep learning models to achieve excellent performance of Scandit products by using data annotation tools to accurately annotate and label data.

What You Will Do

• Data annotation, labelling and quality review
• Detect and surface patterns of annotation mistakes
• Review and feedback on annotation guidelines
• Gain in-depth knowledge (through on-the-job training) of using image annotation software tools
• Provide feedback to further develop the annotation of datasets
• Communicate effectively with team members

Who We Look For

• Current university or technical college student seeking practical training and exposure to cutting edge technology
• English level: B2 or higher
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to work on repetitive tasks efficiently and effectively with minimal errors
• Excellent communication, analytical skills
• High motivation with the desire to learn 
• Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning

What We Offer

• Part-time contract. This position is for up to 20 hours per week, including in-person training sessions.

• Hybrid work model (we’re very flexible but would love to meet and work in person from time to time)
