Do you want to be part of the team that is shaking up the data and AI world? The mission for the Developer Relations and Community team is to ensure that developers, ML and data engineers, and data scientists know, use and champion Snowflake (we call them builders). We're seeking a Developer Growth Lead to make an exponential impact in boosting Snowflake's brand and awareness among builders. You will employ a wide range of growth tactics such as technical content, newsletters, podcast sponsorships, third-party community partnerships, social media and, strategically-placed paid activations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:  

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract developers, data scientists, data engineers, and other builders. Leverage channels such as SEO, content marketing, social media, brand ambassadors, and community partnerships to drive awareness.
  • Partner with Snowflake corporate demand gen and growth teams to create growth strategy for and manage key Snowflake destinations for developers including YouTube, developer education and others. 
  • Define key metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of growth strategies.
  • Continuously test and iterate on growth tactics through experimentation, exploring new channels and methods to optimize user acquisition and engagement.
  • Partner closely with Snowflake corporate demand gen and growth teams to integrate developer relations content into corporate campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze user behavior, getting-started experiences, and conversion funnels to identify optimization opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with community and developer influencers to produce technical content, tutorials, and documentation that resonate with developers and encourage tool adoption.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:  

  • 10+ years experience as a Growth Marketer or in a similar role, preferably within the developer tools space.
  • Technical understanding and a passion for developer and/or data science communities
  • Proficiency in data analytics, A/B testing, and user segmentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Cross-functional team management and organizational skills, influence without authority, including senior management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously.
  • Must be able to spend three days a week working from our San Mateo office
