About the Job: 

Snowflake is searching for a dynamic, experienced leader for the Value Engineering team. This person will be responsible for leading and coaching  a team of high caliber individuals

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Value Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of customer engagements.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovative thinking.

Value Proposition Development and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Develop and articulate compelling value propositions, in collaboration with product management, marketing and FCTO organization,  for our new products

Customer Engagement:

  • Engage with key customers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how our product can address those needs.

Thought Leadership:

  • Represent the Value Engineering function in internal and external forums, such as industry conferences, webinars, and customer workshops.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 10+ years of experience in Value Engineering, consulting, business development or a related role in a technology company.
  • Proven track record of leading teams - hiring and building a high performance organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic  environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and build strong working relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-5 years experience leading a Value Engineering team at a technology company.
  • Masters degree in business preferred.
  • Understanding of concepts of data science, AI/ML, data collaboration and data warehouse/lake. 
  • Knowledge of FinOps and key concepts as it relates to customer cloud adoption.
