AS A PRINCIPAL FRONT-END ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

• Be a strong contributor to the product vision.
• Lead and drive engineering projects that span our stack.
• Deliver features requiring close collaboration across multiple teams.
• Exemplify strong collaboration within a cross-functional team, including Design, Product Management, and architects.
• Build for scale and high performance.
• Mentor and coach other senior team members.

OUR IDEAL PRINCIPAL FRONT-END ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

• Extensive software development experience, including 14+ years of experience in web application development (preferably in product companies).
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience, such as being an architect or tech lead in high-impact customer-facing projects.
• The skill to deal with ambiguity, and to bring clarity into projects they lead.
• The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Deep understanding of modern large-scale web application architecture, good API design patterns, design systems, micro frontends, and standards such as Core Web Vitals.
• Deep understanding of the foundations of web technologies, including how browsers, JavaScript, and frameworks work under the hood. Experience with React is desirable.
• Experience solving crucial problems such as state management, SEO, performance, observability, and accessibility.
