Snowhouse is our globally distributed data platform, built as Snowflake on Snowflake. It manages the vast array of petabyte scale data sets that is continuously ingested, processed, and replicated from across all snowflake environments and various external data sources to power internal and customer scenarios.

Snowhouse powers all of Snowflake’s core business, engineering, and data science needs, and provides customers with full visibility into their account and organization activities, usage, resource consumption from all their global environments. 

This role will help define and drive our multi-year strategy on the next set of supported scenarios and future architecture where you will learn about and influence the Snowflake product holistically. 

AS A PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Define the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Snowhouse Foundation
  • Partner with engineering to define product specifications, design features, improve architecture, and deliver new functionality to customers
  • Partner across technical program management, legal, marketing, finance, and support teams to ensure successful go-to-market for new product initiatives
  • Regularly engage with internal and external customers to gather product requirements and feedback through discussions, presentations, and preview programs
  • Help shape broader team and company product priorities and investments
  • Be an advocate for Snowflake regular presentations and talks at internal and external conferences 

OUR IDEAL PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:

  • 12+ years of product management experience, 6+ years experience with cloud data products/services and infrastructure/platform
  • Passion and ability to decompose ambiguous problem areas, strong analytical skills, and customer-focused mindset
  • Equally balance defining strategy while also digging deep into the technical details
  • Experience with designing from v0 to v1, as well as maturing product areas
  • Proven track record collaborating on complex cross organization/teams and cross-functional projects, taking an idea from vision to specification to launch
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
