Snowflake, the company that delivers the Data Cloud to Mobilize the World’s Data, is actively seeking a Sales Onboarding, Senior Manager to support the onboarding of our new field sellers to Snowflake. In this role, which reports to the Director of Onboarding and Content, you will ensure that our Account Executives, and Partners & Alliances new hires are brought up to speed on our offering and can perform their job function quickly. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:

  • Support Account Executives and Partners & Alliances new hires throughout their onboarding journey to ramp quickly toward productivity. 
  • Lead monthly boot camps in the office. You will not only be the MC of Boot Camp but you will be responsible for on-site logistics and fulfill the role of a trainer. You must be able to learn and teach the sales process to Account Executives. 
  • Assist in teaching monthly pre-boot camp virtual training sessions for Sales and Sales Engineering new hires.
  • Build and maintain the eLearning onboarding training content for the Account Executives and Partners & Alliances new hires.
  • Teaching topics and building content on competitive and common objection handling, snowflake selling network, sales tools, and run-the-business training (account planning, territory planning, pipeline generation, account management, and opportunity management). 
  • Assist in creating training content and presenting content at internal training events such as SKO and TechUp, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the enablement team and leadership team to build/refine onboarding plans that align with the segment strategy and goals.

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE: 

  • You must live in the Bay Area, CA.
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience with a focus on sales onboarding in enterprise software space
  • Direct Snowflake experience is highly desired
  • Previous selling experience is highly preferred
  • Technical background, specifically in the data industry is a huge plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in designing and building on-demand and in-person training content
  • Presentation skills in front of large groups are a must
  • Ability to establish executive sponsorship and secure support from a diverse group of internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to successfully deliver programs
  • Strong business, technical, and sales acumen
