Snowflake’s App and Collaboration team builds platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake AI Data Cloud and Collaboration to enable sharing in Data Cloud with access to powerful data and AI/ML API resources on Snowflake.
AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM TEAM YOU WILL:
- Have technical expertise to lead a team of engineers and highly impactful initiatives for platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake Data Cloud’s App & Collaboration.
- As a SWE Manager manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop your team
- Innovate and build highly secured and reliable software to allow customers to be in Data Cloud.
- Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global Snowflake.
- Revolutionize how organizations leverage data and AI as a strategic business asset.
- Ensure operational readiness of the platform and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability, observability, and performance.
OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM, WILL HAVE:
- 10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed infrastructure platforms in production.
- Strong fundamental computer science skills.
- Previous work experience as a software engineer in distributed infrastructures is a plus.
- Fluency in Java or C++.
- Knowledge of AI Lifecycle and database internals is a big plus.
- Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building platforms and APIs.
- Experience driving company cross functional initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.
