Snowflake’s Sales Operations organization is seeking an experienced Strategy and Operations leader to lead our Partner Strategy and Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of key partner initiatives.  You will provide strategic leadership and operational management for our global partner operations team.  You will partner closely with our programs, enablement, and marketing teams to plan and execute Snowflake’s partner strategy.

The successful candidate will be data-driven, have a proven track record of scaling partner sales organizations, possess a broad understanding of sales, channel, and business operations within the SaaS industry, and can combine strategic, analytical, big-picture thinking to drive detailed, operational excellence. This person must be a hands-on leader that embraces and drives change to ensure productivity and efficiency across our partner sales organization.

IN THIS ROLLE YOU WILL GET TO:

  • Lead and manage the operational strategy & roadmap for our partner programs, partnerships, and internal business processes
  • Develop prioritization process & manage planning cycles for partner & field requirements
  • Liaise with core process, systems, BI and IT teams to align priorities, resourcing and project management
  • Structure and lead key strategic initiatives, establish and track KPIs, and develop best practices in support of Snowflake’s partner strategy
  • Lead efforts around PRM implementation, partner experience, strategic partnership implementation, and overall partnerships operational needs
  • Partner with field leadership to develop rules of engagement and establish operating guidelines for working with partners and enable internal teams on those guidelines
  • Partner with Finance team to measure the effectiveness of our partner investments and programs, identify areas to improve, enhance and optimize
  • Create policies and processes to ensure partner business is exceeding legal and finance compliance requirements
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimize partner operations and initiatives
  • Act as a thought leader who can provide strategic direction and develop innovative solutions and processes to scale Snowflake’s partner business

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 10+ years of partner / revenue / go-to-market operations experience in a senior leadership role. Prior experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience and understanding of partner strategies across different go-to-market motions and geographies.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize business metrics & initiatives, understand trends and comfortable driving partner revenue discussions to drive results.
  • Demonstrated experience working and communicating exceptionally well with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams, including C suite and Executive teams, marketing product, finance, legal, as well as our external strategic partners 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence and get things done across functional domains.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment. Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring, managing, developing, and retaining talent at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience; MBA preferred.
