We are looking for a Senior Technical Sourcer to join our people team in San Mateo, US. You will be instrumental in growing the engineering teams at Snowflake. AS A SENIOR TECHNICAL SOURCER YOU WILL:

  • Partner with Snowflake leaders to thoroughly understand technical positions and recruiting needs. 
  • Work with the Hiring Managers and Recruiters to develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for a multitude of roles. 
  • Utilize Google, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack overflow, and other sites to identify potential candidates. 
  • Create and compose compelling messaging that highlights the exciting technical challenges and incredible culture at Snowflake. 
  • Conduct interviews with engineering candidates and record detailed summaries of your conversations. 
  • Serve as the company’s cultural gatekeeper and ensure the preservation of Snowflake’s core values. 
  • Track and maintain a real time record of candidate pipelines for each role. 
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on top-of-the-funnel metrics; including outreach performance, response rates, and pass-through rates. 
  • Take ownership in talent branding activities

OUR IDEAL SENIOR TECHNICAL SOURCER WILL HAVE::

  • 5+ years of sourcing experience (especially tech roles)
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting/sourcing & recruiting passive candidates
  • Strong knowledge of Boolean, x-ray searches and additional sourcing software/tools.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches
  • Being able to conduct initial calls & statuses with Hiring Managers
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Able to quickly understand the core tenants of complex technical concepts and apply that understanding to build an effective sourcing strategy. 
  • Experienced and excited to be working directly with all levels of our Engineering Org.    
  • An open communicator—able to speak to all levels inside and outside the organization, with relative ease. 
  • Team player actively contributing to the team's success through knowledge-sharing, support, and engaging in team activities
