Position Summary:

To manage and track contractor and remote warehouses inventory movements, including scheduling freight, ERP inventory Management, 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt position

 

Travel: 
As needed.

 

Objectives of this role:

  • Manage and monitor contractor material movements.
  • Manage inventory movements to remote warehouses.
  • Engage in regular communication with Project Managers, Logistics, and Purchasing
  • Ensure timely transportation for all orders to contractors.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent inventory records.
  • Address errors timely.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate timely and accurate freight shipments of Sonic Inventory to contractor sites and remote warehouses.
  • Collaborate with project managers on upcoming jobs.
  • Develop and maintain standard workflow process and meet with PMs to provide a one-month Look-ahead Job Project schedule.
  • Coordinates and schedules all drop shipments to contractor sites.
  • Following up with any carrier issues
  • Collaborate with project managers on upcoming jobs.
  • Tracks all POs in transit to contractors.
  • Reconciles any inventory discrepancies.

 

Competency:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to assimilate information from various sources to generate achievable plans.
  • Good interpersonal skills and interface with all levels of departments and carriers
  • Attention to detail with ability to work under pressure.
  • Good organizational skills

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge oif Logistics (inbound freight/Customs/Warehouse/Road Distribution and planning activities)
  • Good knowledge of Materials Management, Scheduling and supplying chain process or other applicable processes and systems experience 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced level Excel skills required.
  • Experienced in a WMS (warehouse management system) ie SAP, D365, Spectrum, JDE
