Role: Senior/Staff Software Engineer
Location: West Coast (PST) Remote US
Compensation: $150-190k base DOE + equity options
We're serial founders who recently secured an industry-leading Series B funding round with our FDA-cleared computer vision solutions. As a Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer on our team, you will work on both internal and customer-facing software products. You should have extensive recent experience with API design, architecture, and system design (in the last 6-12 months.)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable and maintainable web applications using modern software engineering principlesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeLead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide guidance to junior developersIdentify and address performance bottlenecks in web applications and implement solutions to improve scalabilityArchitect and design complex systemsRequirements:
8+ years of experience in software engineeringExtensive experience with JavaScript (We are a Typescript environment)Node/Express/Serverless experienceGolang experience or knowledge a strong plusSQS or Kafka experienceStrong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns (API design, architecture & system design are vital parts of the job)Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environmentBenefits:
