What we’re looking for
We are seeking a curious, creative, and strategic Senior Program Manager, Learning & Development to join an innovative and collaborative team. In this role, you will lead our manager and leadership development initiatives, building impactful programs that inspire and elevate SurveyMonkey leaders. With a bold vision for leadership development, you will play a key role in shaping a portfolio of programs that support the success of our diverse, global teams.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about fostering inclusive leadership, who has a strong foundation in adult learning principles and thrives in building partnerships with colleagues and business leaders. You will report directly to the Head of Learning & Development, working together to drive meaningful growth across the organization.
What you’ll be working on
- Partner with the Learning & Talent Development team, People Partners, and people leaders globally to assess learning needs and implement programs that support manager and executive growth in alignment with our business priorities.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Manager, Leadership, and Executive Development programs.
- Facilitate engaging live and virtual workshops on various leadership and development topics, ensuring content is accessible and impactful for all participants. Manage relationships with external partners who build and facilitate content.
- Cultivate relationships with external partners to co-create and deliver relevant, high-quality content.
- Define program metrics, milestones, and success criteria to track progress and impact.
- Monitor engagement and collect feedback, iterating on program content to better meet the evolving needs of employees.
- Explore new, innovative ideas to enhance our development programs and create memorable learning experiences.
We’d love to hear from people with
- 8+ years of experience in areas like instructional design and leadership development, with a focus on creating impactful learning content. We value depth of skills and relevant experience over a specific number of years.
- 3+ years of management experience, with an ability to build trust quickly with managers of all experience levels and facilitate open, constructive conversations on leadership challenges.
- Strong foundation in adult learning principles, instructional design, and leadership frameworks, with additional executive coaching experience seen as a plus.
- Exceptional project and relationship management skills, effectively balancing multiple priorities and fostering collaboration with colleagues and senior leaders.
- Skilled facilitator for in-person and virtual settings, committed to delivering engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
- Collaborative and proactive problem solver who anticipates needs, addresses challenges and enjoys building strong partnerships across the organization.
SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week.
