What we’re looking for
A core strategy for SurveyMonkey is to provide thoughtful value to our customers through tight integrations with the enterprise ecosystem for relevant use cases across our product offerings.
The Partners, Integrations and Enablement Team builds foundational RESTful API infrastructure and provides a unified approach to integrations and developer enablement across our market.
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to build APIs and integrations with a passion for solving challenging problems. Iterating quickly, we work closely with our product owners, designers and customers to ensure we provide the best solution for our users.
What you’ll be working on
- Leading technical projects by working with cross-functional partners to ensure we build scalable solutions with quality in mind
- Designing and developing RESTful endpoints in our public API to serve business needs
- Developing integrations with third-party services
- Promoting best practices and mentoring team members
- Guiding technical innovation and engineering standards for the team
- Be a trusted technical lead for the team in matters of technical architecture and planning
We’d love to hear from people with
- 8+ years of experience in developing highly scalable web applications and services
- Experience with Python and JavaScript
- Experience directly coding and calling external service APIs
- Strong interest in doing code reviews, writing tech specs, collaborating within and across teams, and troubleshooting issues
- Experience with Git or another VCS
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers as well as cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL and AWS

As such, this opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
