What we’re looking for:
GetFeedback by SurveyMonkey is a leading customer feedback and experience management platform, serving millions of surveys annually over the web on a global scale. As a core component integrated into the websites and mobile applications of our enterprise clients, GetFeedback upholds exceptionally high standards for uptime and availability.
We are seeking an individual passionate about maintaining high quality across all stages of development, from gathering feature requirements to defining test plans, conducting cross-browser testing, managing bug filings, and overseeing web application releases to production. You understand that automated testing is crucial for maintaining quality, yet you also value manual testing as a key component of the QA process. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, fellow QA specialists, designers, and product managers within an agile team environment. Your goal will be to foster a culture of excellence in testing across SurveyMonkey's engineering teams through peer reviews and continuous training initiatives.
What you’ll be working on:
- Engaging in all phases of our agile software development process, from initial planning to final deployment.
- Collaborating closely with product and design stakeholders to deliver iterative value.
- Developing automation tests and frameworks to enhance our services and improve user experiences.
- Ensuring the seamless integration of automated and manual testing into our release processes.
- Monitoring and ensuring observability of our features and functionality.
- Utilizing Jira to report issues and validate their resolution through automated or manual testing.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles.
- Proficiency in maintaining automated tests using JavaScript-based frameworks such as WebDriverIO, TestCafe, Protractor, or similar.
- Experience verifying RESTful API services through code-based testing.
- Demonstrated ability in authoring and driving test automation planning, while mentoring others.
- Familiarity with case management tools like TestRail and Jira, as well as monitoring tools like Splunk.
- A growth-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
This opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
