Our Operations team is the heart of our business, busy connecting our products to our customers in the most efficient way. They are spread across our large Fulfilment Centre, HQ and Production Hub. Their expertise covers Inventory, Inbound, Outbound, Delivery Experience, Fulfilment Strategy, Project Management, FC Analytics, Marketplace Operations and Vendor Management.
What you’ll do
The Vendor Operations Coordinator is the operational interface between our vendors, and our internal stakeholders in Category Management and the Fulfilment Centre. The key focus is on coordinating the Inbound Logistics, Vendor Onboarding and Compliance for all new and existing vendors.
How You’ll Succeed
- Support the Team Lead in making introductions and touch points with all new vendors
- Ensuring Operational excellence for EDI Compliance across our Vendor Community
- Supporting Vendors through successful delivery at our Fulfilment Centre, adhering to our Operational Guidelines
- Drive to achieve Key Performance Indicators on vendor onboarding, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Vendor Compliance and Inbound Logistics Accuracy
- Continual focus on 100% operational alignment and visibility as to when deliveries are due with what quantity, content and quality
- Review, approve and coordinate deliveries into the Fulfilment Centre
- Action shipping Notice Creation to ensure Inbound shipments are timely and accurately enter into the OMS system
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to help in avoiding and resolving Quality Assurance & Compliance issues
- Manage and support vendor relationships to ensure product delivery complies with our Operational Guidelines
What it takes
- 1 to 2 years experience in a vendor/customer facing role, or a desire to excel in this area
- Experience in Logistics within the retail industry will set you apart from the competition
- Ability to bring ideas for improvement and looking to implement new processes
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- Passion for data analysis and operations
- Overall exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
