We are building a top-tier Localization program to remove language barriers, helping customers find products in their preferred language and enabling suppliers to reach a global audience.

As an Arabic Language Quality Specialist, you will localize, audit, review, and assess the quality of various translation methods. You’ll work with Localization Managers and tech teams to enhance Arabic language quality. The ideal candidate is proactive, experienced in localization with a focus on quality, and excels in project management and communication.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Localize, review, audit, and elevate the quality of content for Trendyol’s Arabic-language platforms.
  • Monitor external vendor quality and address any variations, ensuring top-tier content in your target language.
  • Provide constructive feedback and linguistic coaching to external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain language assets, such as glossaries, style guides, and translation memories.
  • Oversee language quality and enhance product localization standards for all Arabic platforms.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, both existing and potential, and leverage that knowledge to advocate for site features that offer Trendyol customers an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in localization, translation, copywriting, and/or proofreading, ideally in high-growth industries such as eCommerce within the Gulf and/or MENA regions.
  • Native fluency in Arabic with a strong command of MSA language rules.
  • Fully bilingual in English.
  • Fluency in Turkish is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, or related fields.
  • Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment with agile product cycles.
