The Sr. Manager of Engineering Lending will lead a team of talented backend engineers to build & develop multiple consumer-facing lending products such as the Varo Believe Card and Varo Advance. You will evolve, create, implement, and maintain Varo's strategic Lending business vision. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to quickly accelerate the lending business and ensure the delivery of impactful solutions.

Lead our engineering team to build a robust and reliable Lending PlatformProvide mentorship and build a team of amazing engineersCollaborate closely with Product, Design, and other teams to define requirements, and set clear measurable goals for the teamDefine standards for software architecture, code quality, and test coverageBe a hands-on manager, write code each week, participate in architectural discussions and decision-making with the teamDrive quality and excellence on the team, and be a strong evangelist for our users and brandOwn services with pride. Streamline processes for efficient delivery of the quality product.
