Sangaree at Cane Bay is hiring a full-time Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to a variety of animal patients.

Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year

Hours of operation: 

• Monday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Wednesday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am - 11:00 am, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
• Sunday: Closed

Salary: $125,000-145,000 per year plus production

Schedule: flexible (open to PT or FT)

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for a wide range of medical conditions.
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures.
• Offer preventative care and wellness education to clients.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and service.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid veterinary license in the state of South Carolina.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.

About Sangaree Animal Hospital at Cane Bay:

Our Cane Bay location opened in May of 2014 to serve residents of the Cane Bay neighborhoods and surrounding areas of Summerville, Moncks Corner and Goose Creek. The hospital is conveniently located at The Market at Cane Bay shopping center at the intersection of State Road and Cane Bay Boulevard, several stores down from Publix. There is ample parking out front and throughout the rest of the shopping center complex.

Sangaree’s Cane Bay offices are fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to assist us in caring for your pet. In addition to our exam rooms and stocked treatment area, we have a surgery suite and imaging room for digital radiographs. Our in-house laboratory features diagnostic equipment from Idexx Laboratories and Heska. Additionally, Sangaree relies on electronic medical records for all of your pet’s health information. Together, these modern features allows us to offer high quality care to everyone we see and provide patients with the ability to visit whichever Sangaree location is most convenient to them.
