Blitz is a gaming platform launched by Voodoo in 2021, allowing players to compete on mobile games for real cash prizes (head-up, tournaments, leagues, etc.). It is leveraging Voodoo’s unique game portfolio to engage users in a fun and rewarding way.
We are looking for a Data Analyst who will play a key role in collecting and analyzing data to guide strategic decisions, optimize the user experience, and improve the economic performance of Blitz, a real-money gaming platform.
Role
Work on end-to-end data projects in collaboration, aiming to enhance our games and boost both monetization and player retention improvements.Gather needs from stakeholders, build data collection and transformation pipelines, train and deploy simple predictive models into production.Share progress with game analysts by building dashboards and providing them with actionable recommendations.Defining KPIs and prioritizing initiatives based on expected impact.Analyze large, complex data sets with billions of events representing the behavior of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions.Design solutions from scratch, iterate quickly, create POCs, and deploy to production rapidly.Build and manage robust data pipelines to align with ever-evolving business needs, ensuring optimal architecture support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on A/B testing, analyzing results, and improving testing frameworks to enhance product evaluation and inform strategic decisions.You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between time-consuming development and rapid results.Profile
You possess substantial experience in analytical roles, ideally within a web or mobile company or the online gaming industry.2 years minimum of proven experience in data analysis, AB testing, and data-driven decision-makingYou are highly skilled in SQL and have a proven track record of building production-ready pipelines that handle large and complex data sets.You have solid experience in ETL developmentYou have practical experience with Tableau, and can create dashboards that are shared company-wide, facilitating data-driven decision-making across departments.You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between time-consuming development and rapid results.A BA/B.Sc degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economy, or other quantitative fields is mandatory for this role.Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models will be considered a significant advantage.Deep interest in gamingEnglish and French proficiencyA team player with a deep collaborative mindset,Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive attitude toward receiving, acting on, and providing feedbackDemonstrated accountability, independence, and Ownership over your workBenefits
