Team

Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing, and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.

Joining our Live games team means collaborating with gaming industry experts on globally renowned, enduring games while embracing exciting new entrepreneurial ventures. With over seven billion downloads worldwide and a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games generating more than $20m per year, we are the largest and most successful hybrid publisher in the world.

You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Uboat Attack & Walkers Attack.

Role

  • Feature art ownership: Lead the visual development of the game from concept to implementation, maintaining and evolving the game's visual style.
  • Self-art-directed: Autonomously manage artistic direction, balancing creative vision with technical constraints and continually improving visual quality based on feedback and trends.
  • Unity integration: Seamlessly integrate 2D and 3D assets into Unity, optimizing for performance and anticipating technical requirements for smooth implementation and future optimization.
  • Timed delivery: Deliver high-quality assets on schedule, balancing speed with attention to detail and quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Game Designers and Developers, providing artistic input to enhance and optimize game design.
  • 2D Art creation: Develop UI kits, concept art, and game assets (characters, environments, textures) to bring the game design vision to life.
  • 3D Art creation: Produce static and dynamic game-ready assets, including modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating, with a bonus focus on motion graphics, VFX, and particle systems.
  • Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in creating art for scaled live mobile games, with a focus on hybrid casual, casual, or mid-core titles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software: Photoshop, Blender, Unity, and Figma.
  • Strong understanding of art optimization workflows, with an interest in and use of AI tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E.
  • Excellent sense of colour, form, and composition with the ability to adapt to various artistic styles.
  • Ability to switch effortlessly between collaborative team environments and independent solo work.
  • Openness to feedback with the ability to make quick and necessary adjustments.
  • Understanding of data-driven design concepts and familiarity with A/B testing.
  • Eagerness to experiment and rapidly prototype ideas.
  • Ability to work effectively in a smaller, experienced team of around 10 people.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new software, tools, and gameplay mechanics.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, ideally at a C1 level.
  • Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, particle effects, and VFX within Unity.
