Voodoo is creating a new studio with a very exciting and ambitious mission: release the next $1B Match 3 game, pioneering the next generation in this category. We aim to elevate quality and innovation in casual, redefine industry standards, and deliver fun to a broad audience. You will be joining this studio as Senior UI/UX Artist.

Role

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Artist to play a key role in crafting our next $1B casual game hit. You will be crucial in shaping the artistic direction and helping to lay the groundwork for a new Match-3 studio. This position empowers you to define and build the visual style from the very beginning, contributing across creative, technical, and strategic stages.

  • Designing and maintaining UX flows, wireframes, and flowcharts in Figma, with a strong grasp of user-centred design.
  • Creating and managing a cohesive UX/UI framework for the game, ensuring consistency across assets and user interactions.
  • Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, iterating quickly on designs to refine game features.
  • Proactively handling UI visual elements, including icon creation and mock ups of final art assets to guide the visual direction.
  • Exporting and implementing assets into Unity, with an understanding of technical constraints and familiarity with optimisation, basic animation, and VFX implementation.
  • Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in UI art for mobile games, ideally with experience in LiveOps.
  • 2+ years of UX design experience, with skills in wireframing, flowcharting, and user experience design.
  • Expertise in Figma for UX/UI framework development, along with Photoshop proficiency for detailed asset creation.
  • Familiarity with Unity for asset implementation, optimisation, basic animation, and VFX to enhance user experience.
  • Ability to create and maintain a UX/UI framework library and effectively use AI tools to accelerate prototyping and image generation.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with experience in remote work settings and a proactive approach to identifying product needs and design references.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design in mobile games.

  • Experience with UI animation, motion graphics, or VFX to add dynamic elements to the UI.
  • Skills in rapid UX prototyping to quickly iterate on design ideas.
  • Experience with 3D modelling relevant to UI/UX design in gaming contexts.
