This position is onsite M-Th at our Boston headquarters and is remote on Fridays. 

The Onsite Marketing team owns the strategy, development and performance of Wayfair’s homepage and key marketing landing pages. We are a highly cross-functional team partnering with internal storefront & data science teams, as well as creative, marketing, and merchandising teams. 

As the Head of Onsite Marketing you will be responsible for managing the onsite channel for wayfair.com and wayfair.ca, across web & app platforms. You will drive the overarching homepage strategy and associated testing agenda, deliver brand right and performant content plans, and partner with storefront to continuously improve site UX and personalization. You will oversee a team of associates who manage the day-to-day content development, programming, and page performance. 

Core responsibilities will include; 

  • Define and oversee implementation of homepage strategy, inclusive of audience-based targeting, content personalization, and feature testing. 
  • Be accountable for homepage performance, including KPI definition and measurement, while developing user-friendly dashboards. Steer a robust analytical agenda to inform key business decisions and real-time pivots. 
  • Partner with storefront teams to establish and deliver cross-team roadmaps, identifying back and front-end requirements to support the homepage strategy, advance the site UX, and evolve personalization. 
  • Lead the creative testing agenda across all assets with scalability at the forefront to support a dynamic and personalized environment. Deliver strong creative briefs and concept feedback, with consideration for channel and audience specific nuances. 
  • Oversee product curation strategies in close partnership with merchandising for select landing pages in support of digital (email, push, onsite) marketing needs, and seasonal go-to-market plans.  
  • Manage, develop, and retain a team of associates
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital marketing and ecommerce UX 

What you’ll need; 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a team environment with a strong, collaborative culture, ability to align stakeholders with competing priorities, including senior leadership
  • Experience building and managing roadmaps
  • Proven analytical prowess, and critical thinking skills to identify insights & trends from complex data sets which translate into action
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and personalization platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Attention to detail and an ability to hold business partners accountable to those standards
  • Experience managing and developing team members early in their careers
